PHPNuke is one of the largest and widely used content management systems in the net. The author of Phpnuke CMS is Mr. Francisco Burzi, a 36 year old Canadian (born in Quebec) who worked for a few advertising agencies but currently he is self employed. PHP-Nuke is released under general public licence (GPL/GNU). This means that the script is free, free to distribute under GNU licence conditions. The author also sells commercial licence for phpnuke which cost $300.00 USD for a single domain. This lisence will give you the rights to remove any phpnuke.org references from source code.

PHP Nuke requires very limited knowledge on php/html coding languages. It is a very good content management system for anyone, especially newcomers. The basic requirement of phpnuke is a php web server (i.e. Apache) and MySQL installed in the web server.
